Corbin Gunfighter Harley Davidson Seat

I recently had the chance to ride a bike that had a Corbin Gunfighter seat installed on it. The bike was a 2006 FXST that was basically stock other than a Stage 1 upgrade and a few doodads. I must say what a pleasant experience, far better than I expected judging by the looks of the seat.

Most new motorcycle riders begrudgingly learn to tolerate the butt numbing pain that the stock Harley seats will inflict on their riders, mainly because they don't know any better. Once they get a chance to ride a bike equipped with an aftermarket seat they will usually stop at nothing to replace the seat on their own bike as soon as possible.

There are a lot of poor quality aftermarket seats that will not be any better than the stock seat so you need to spend your money wisely. Corbin is one of those seat companies that "get it." They understand the needs of a rider and they build seats that will fit that need.

Take one look at a seat like the Corbin gunfighter and you can quickly see that Corbin uses the finest materials and construction techniques to build a quality seat, and I can tell you from the short time I rode my friends FXST, that they make some comfortable seats.

The Corbin Gunfighter is not traditionally a style of seat that you would think would be very comfortable but that shows you that looks can be misleading. So much of what makes a seat comfortable is the firmness of the foam and the geometry of how you sit "in" the bucket. If the geometry is right then the seat will be comfortable and I found the Corbin Gunfighter Harley Davidson seat to be extremely comfortable.

The Corbin Gunfighter is also the perfect style of seat for me.  I prefer that low, slammed look in a Harley Davidson but you should know that Corbin makes a full line of seats for everything from slammed lowriders to all day Touring style bikes. You will not go wrong with a Corbin seat.
