Corbin Gambler Harley Seat Review

Corbin GamblerCorbin is a name in the Harley Davidson seat world that you know you can trust. They are one of the most widely used and well respected seats manufacturers in the world so you know you are buying a quality seat right out of the gate. A buddy of mine recently replaced the stock brick on his Street Glide with a more comfortable saddle.

He came to me for my opinion and I recommended Corbin...simply because of the name. I didn't tell him I'd already ridden a few bikes with a Corbin Gambler saddle and they were awesome. I've used Corbin saddles on a number of motorcycles in the past and they've always done me right.

Here's my thoughts on the Gambler. This Harley seat offers a stylish and sleek low rise appearance that makes this saddle very popular with the around the town "look at me" crowd. What I am saying is that it looks great, so if looks is your thing, then this saddle has you covered.

The Corbin gambler offers more than just a pretty face though as Corbin goes to no end to make sure they offer a comfortable saddle, as that is the main reason most people change the stock seat. They stuff it full of Comfort Cell® foam that still gives a comfortable ride even though it has such a low profile. The seat is shaped such that it evenly distributes your weight around the seating area so you won't develop any hot spots while riding.

The Gambler saddle is designed to work with a variety of accessories available from Harley and the OE but make sure you read the footnotes to make sure anything you buy will be compatible. Some seats do not try to accommodate accessories but that shouldn't be a problem with a Corbin.

I checked their website and Corbin's Gambler saddle is available for standard FLH and FLT models as well as the Street Glide and like all Corbin saddles, this one is wrapped in genuine leather in your choice of textures and colors. All in all, the saddle will conform to your body and provide a personalized fit upon break in. What do you mean break in? If you've never ridden a leather clad saddle before, they require a break in period and will only get better with age.
